Ordering, Shipping & Delivery

When will my order ship?

Orders placed by noon Central usually ship the same day. After noon, they typically go out the next business day. Every order ships in the order we received it, and we push to get them out the door fast.

How long will delivery take?

Ground shipments reach most of the country within about three days. Once it's with the carrier, transit time is in their hands, not ours.

What shipping methods do you use?

By law, ammunition ships ground only. We use UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, and LTL freight for larger orders. Non-ammo items may ship USPS.

Can you ship ammo to my address?

We ship to most residential addresses in the 48 contiguous states. A handful of states and cities restrict ammo shipments or require documentation, and we can't ship outside the lower 48. If your state needs paperwork, see the documentation question below.

How do I submit FID/FOID/FFL documentation?

Email your documentation to shipping@angelfireammo.com and we'll match it to your order.

What if my package is stolen or never arrives?

If a package shows delivered but you don't have it, file a claim with the carrier first. If they confirm delivery, you'll need to file a police report, and once you send us a copy we'll replace your order. We recommend shipping to a secure address where packages aren't left exposed.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Orders of 500 rounds or more ship free. Under 500 rounds, you pay actual carrier rates with no markup.

Why isn't shipping free on every order?

Ammo makers pay the federal Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax (FAET), an extra 11% on the selling price. If we rolled shipping into that price, your shipping would get hit with the 11% too. Billing it separately keeps FAET off your freight and your ammo cheaper.

Do you offer AutoShip or subscriptions?

Yes. AngelFire AutoShip delivers on your schedule, every month or every 2 or 3 months, at whatever sale pricing is active when your order processes. Pause, change, or cancel anytime from your account.

Products & Calibers

What calibers do you offer?

Everything currently in our lineup is on the site. If you don't see a caliber, we're not loading it yet. We announce new calibers to our email list and social channels as they're added. Shop all AngelFire Ammo.

Do you sell new ammunition, or only remanufactured?

Both. We load remanufactured ammo on inspected once-fired brass, and new-brass ammo, all held to the same standard. More on our remanufactured ammo page.

Is your ammo good for range, self-defense, or competition?

For range and practice, our remanufactured loads are built for dependable, high-volume shooting, and we chronograph every lot for consistency. For personal protection, our XTP new-brass loads use a hollow-point projectile built for self-defense. Both are held to the same tested standard.

Why do you sell 250-round boxes instead of 50?

Shipping a 50-round box by ground rarely makes sense once you add carrier minimums. Our 250-round packs (100 for some larger calibers) are the smallest size where the shipping math works in your favor.

Do you offer bulk or promotional discounts?

We don't run standing bulk pricing, but we run promotions often, and they frequently include tiered discounts. The best way to catch them is our email list and social channels.

Quality & the Guarantee

Is remanufactured ammunition reliable and safe?

Remanufactured ammo earned a rough reputation from inconsistent garage reloads. Ours isn't that. We inspect the brass, load it with new primers, powder, and projectiles to a tested spec, and chronograph every lot. Every round is backed by our 5000% guarantee. More on our remanufactured ammo page.

Will remanufactured ammo wear or damage my firearm?

Ammunition loaded to the correct specification is safe in a firearm that's in good working order. We load to spec, chronograph every lot, and stand behind it with the 5000% guarantee. As with any ammo, use loads rated for your firearm.

What's the difference between reloaded and remanufactured ammo?

Reloaded ammo is usually made one batch at a time by an individual on personal equipment, so quality swings with the person. Remanufactured ammo is produced commercially on industrial equipment to consistent specs. Both reuse brass, but they aren't the same thing. More on our remanufactured ammo page.

How is AngelFire ammo tested?

We chronograph every lot we produce and record it, so the velocity you see is measured, not estimated. You can browse the numbers on our ballistics chart.

What is the 5000% Brass-Clad Performance Guarantee?

If a round of AngelFire Ammo fails to fire, we replace it at 5000%: a full 50-round box (or equivalent credit) for the incident. Full terms are on the guarantee page.

I had an issue with my ammo. What do I do?

Tell us and we'll make it right. Report it through our issue form and we'll take care of you under the 5000% guarantee.

What is your return policy?

Ammunition is a regulated product, so returns work a little differently than most goods. See our return policy for the specifics.
