Description

When the 40 S&W was developed in 1990, the 180 grain bullet weight was the standard. It's what the FBI specified. It's what law enforcement agencies standardized on. While 165gr loads have gained popularity for their flatter trajectories, 180gr remains the quintessential 40 caliber experience—substantial recoil, serious momentum, and the kind of performance that made this cartridge a service standard.

For shooters who own 40 S&W pistols—Glocks, Smith & Wesson M&Ps, Sigs, and others—training ammunition needs to mirror the characteristics of defensive loads without the cost. This is exactly what our 180gr FMJ provides: realistic recoil impulse, proper slide velocities for reliable cycling, and the weight and momentum of full-power 40 S&W loads.

AngelFire remanufactures this ammunition using thoroughly inspected once-fired brass and quality 180 grain FMJ projectiles. Powder charges are calibrated to deliver velocities in the 950-1000 fps range—enough to ensure reliable function in service pistols while keeping pressures in the moderate zone for brass longevity.

This 250-round case is sized for serious practice. Whether you're maintaining proficiency with your duty pistol, training for competition, or just enjoying a caliber with serious presence, you'll have enough ammunition for multiple range sessions.

First 50 - Zero Failures, Tight Groups, Low Price

At the stores, 40cal is crazy expensive. I'm happy to get reman ammo for this price and there is no compromise. Every round goes bang and puts .40" hole where I sent it.

First 50 - Zero Failures, Tight Groups, Low Price

In defiance of all of the articles about the 40S&W's obsolescence, I just bought a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield and needed to feed it. I bought 250rds of this remanufactured 40SW and just fired the first 50rds today. Every round looked and performed like new for a great price! I will be ordering a lot more soon. Practice is vital!
